First of all, we have to make sure to have the appropriate box (Dish Box). Later, we have to decide whether the packing should be done with newspaper, packing paper, or bubble wrap. If we do decide to pack with paper, place a decent amount  the lower part of the dish to later wrap them completely and place one after another until eight or ten dishes are reached. The empty spaces in the box are filled with plastic cups, plastic containers, or anything non heavy such as paper till the box is completely filled. If we have an abundant space in the upper part of the box we repeat what was done earlier with the dishes and the wrap paper until the box is filled. Ultimately, we properly tape the box in order to avoid any despair in damaging the dishes during transportation. If we pack with bubble wrap on the other hand, we are to use it in the lower part of the box or order to later wrap every single dish until the box is newly filled. Any empty spaces would be filled with plastic material and or bubble wrap or paper.

b)       Regarding furniture, be aware to have the hall way and doors with the dimensions sufficiently wide and high in your new location. This will avoid problems with your big and heavy furniture.

c)       Decide where you would like your belongings to be placed in your new apartment, that way you can tell the movers where to put them.   That will save you a lot of time.

d)      Reserve a parking spot for the truck; this way you will avoid any traffic tickets, for which customers are responsible in most companies.  Also, It would be very helpful If the truck is close to your door, as a result, your move will be finished faster and with much more efficiency.

e)      If you reside in a building, make sure to have permission from the manager to use the elevator at a certain time and for a certain amount of hours.  Moving while the elevator is in constant use will make your move last much longer.

f)       Name and label each room in your apartment so that the movers know where to put your labeled boxes and furniture accordingly.

g)      Revise all your furniture to see if they have any scratches or any kind of damage before it is wrapped in order to avoid an argument with the moving company you hired.

h)      And the most important part is to call your cable and telephone company service and schedule it to switch location the same day.
